Privacy Statement

Melton City Council is committed to protecting privacy of your personal information. Council endorses fair information handling practices and uses of information in compliance with its obligations under the Information Privacy Act 2000 (Vic). Personal information collected will be used only for the purpose of developing Council’s application to establish new suburbs within the municipality of Melton.

Competition Terms

Enter online by registering through mycitymysay.com.au and submitting a vote, naming suggestion or general feedback. Mail or direct email submissions to ‘Suburb Naming Project’ will also be accepted, including tear-off feedback forms distributed by Council. Only 1 entry (registration) per person, regardless of format registration, vote or submission made. Entries must have completed contact information in order to be valid. Competition starts 26 July 9am EST, closing 1 September 5pm EST. The prize draw will take place at 232 High Street Melton, Victoria 3337 on September 22, 5pm EST. Prize is: 1 x MC769X/A iPad 2 Wi-Fi 16GB Black, valued at $575. Winner will be directly contacted according by email or mail. Personal information collected through the competition may be used for the purpose of developing Council’s application to establish new suburbs within the municipality of Melton and is governed by our Privacy Statement. Entrants will only be contacted by opt-in.
